The Miniature Circuit Breaker consists of a precisely molded body and cover made of flame-retardant thermoplastic material. The material used has a high melting point, is waterproof, provides high dielectric insulation, and is heat resistant.
The tripping mechanism is independent for manual operation and fault tripping. For example, even if the circuit breaker toggle is in the ON position, the breaker trips internally under fault conditions.
The contact mechanism consists of fixed and moving contacts designed to be safe, reliable, long-lasting, and anti-weld (non-sticking). The arc extinguisher consists of a 13-plate arc chute. Under the effect of the magnetic field, the arc moves into the arc chute and is rapidly separated and extinguished.
The tripping mechanism is of the Thermal-Magnetic type.
